Senior Android Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into well-designed features
• Design, develop, and test new Android features prioritizing smooth user experience
• Create reusable, scalable code for app stability and future enhancements
• Optimize performance for quick and responsive user interactions
• Implement robust security measures for data protection and compliance
• Conduct rigorous testing to maintain high application quality
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience in Jetpack Compose and Jetpack libraries
• Strong knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks
• Proven track record of designing well-architected Android applications
• Expertise in memory management, file I/O, network programming, and concurrency
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Experience with Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reactive programming (RxJava, RxKotlin, Flows)
• Knowledge of Huawei Store and SDKs
• Experience handling third-party hardware like scanners and printers
• Experience with Gradle scripts
• Knowledge of unit testing and TDD
