Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced, scalable Android applications for the banking sector
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions
• Integrate with backend services using JSON and REST to ensure high-performance mobile experiences
• Shape and implement technology solutions to contribute to client competitive differentiation
• Implement user stories, write tests, and continuously deliver improved product functionality
• Communicate with team members to resolve technical dependencies during implementation

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in mobile application development using Java and Kotlin for Android
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Strong understanding of design patterns including MVP, MVVM, and MVC
• Expertise in Android development paradigms, including memory management, file I/O, network programming, and concurrency
• Proficiency with Rx-Java, Coroutines, and Live-data
• Expert working knowledge of Android Studio and IntelliJ
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and mocking
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure, Jenkins, Circle, or GitLab
• Experience with code refactoring, design-driven development, and application security
• Experience building highly scalable applications within the fintech or banking industry
