Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship advanced features for our mobile banking application
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
• Implement robust application architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or MVP
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Monitor application performance and implement necessary improvements and bug fixes
• Research and acquire the latest technologies to ensure maximum development efficiency
• Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions within the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in Android development
• 5+ years of professional experience coding with Kotlin
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design principles
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git
• Experience with unit testing to ensure code robustness and reliability
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a global multi-cultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the banking or fintech industry
• Knowledge of the Google Approval and Distribution process
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to act as a T-shaped engineer with both specialized and broad technical knowledge
