About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance native Android applications
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical requirements
- Implement Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Manage offline storage, threading, and performance tuning for mobile apps
- Utilize additional sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers for enhanced user experiences
- Automate code quality, performance, and unit testing within the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with peers to measure productivity using tools like SonarQube
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in native Android development
- Deep expertise in the Android SDK and various Android versions
- Proven ability to handle diverse screen sizes and natural user interfaces
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Proficiency with offline storage and multi-threading techniques
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, RTC, or RLM
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries
