Senior Analytics Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a global product-specific analytics strategy.
• Scope potential data sources and determine resourcing needs for analytics projects.
• Manage and prioritize all analytics projects related to the product line.
• Communicate findings and present insights to senior management to ensure business integration.
• Partner with business leaders to understand operational issues and build key stakeholder relationships.
• Provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including data exploration, trend identification, and model assessment.
• Develop monitoring reports to track model usage and performance.
• Coordinate requirements across business units to ensure technical solutions are scalable and reusable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages, specifically Python or SQL.
• Experience working within Agile development processes.
• Strong project management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data to draw actionable insights for fact-based decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance domains such as policy, coverage, claims, and regulation.
• Expertise in Property insurance.
• Strong understanding of DBMS, data lakes, and ETL processes.
• Up-to-date knowledge of advanced Machine Learning (ML) and AI trends.
