Senior Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of efficient and scalable systems to optimize data transformations from the Snowflake data lake into clean, documented data products.
• Build and maintain a governed, robust, and scalable analytics system using Data Vault (DV 2.0) and dbt.
• Collaborate with BI analysts and data scientists to provide data accessibility guidelines and foster data democratization.
• Create frameworks to improve data quality and observability, including data testing, validation, and regression testing plans.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams through design reviews and ideation forums to drive high technical standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define data masking and privacy strategies aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in advanced data modeling using Data Vault 2.0, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Proven experience building analytics systems with workload management tools like Airflow, GitLab, and SQL.
• Strong production experience supporting mission-critical datasets and maintaining business/semantic layers for self-service.
• Knowledge of code management and CI/CD practices, including Terraform.
• Familiarity with AWS solutions such as S3, EC2, and VPC.
• Understanding of data governance principles to maintain a single source of truth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with self-serve product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Thoughtspot, Tableau, or Gainsight.
• Experience with AutomateDV or similar Data Vault automation tools.
