Senior Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into robust data infrastructure
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines
• Monitor performance and optimize data systems for high performance and reliability
• Build a Data Quality Framework in collaboration with the Data Integrity team
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues
• Contribute to best practices including code standards, version control, and testing
• Develop and support CI/CD processes using Terraform, Github, TeamCity, and Octopus
• Define and implement monitoring and alerting policies for data solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark
• 5+ years of experience with advanced SQL queries and optimization
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field
• Proven track record building and optimizing large-scale data systems
• Experience in Databricks and Azure environments
• Experience with pipeline scheduling tools like Airflow or Astronomer
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Terraform, Github, or Octopus

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
• Streaming or NRT modeling experience
• Passion for technical mentorship
