Senior Analytics Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data architectures using SQL, dbt, and ETL/ELT tools
• Implement metadata-driven pipelines and lead data modeling efforts
• Optimize performance using Python and cloud/on-prem features
• Design KPI frameworks and semantic layers using Power BI, Tableau, and Grafana
• Implement data governance frameworks, privacy policies, and retention standards
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and performance optimization
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data platform development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in data modeling and architecture design
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Databricks, and dbt
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Advanced Power BI development (DAX, M Query)
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning
• Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate
• Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
