Senior Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready analytical transformations and metric definitions within Google BigQuery to support bidding marketplaces.
• Establish automated data validation frameworks and schema checks to protect reporting dashboards from upstream drifts.
• Lead the migration of complex analytical transformation rules from legacy repositories into modular, decoupled analytics environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to define clean data modeling boundaries for shared catalog assets like products and brands.
• Set technical standards for analytics engineering, including code reusability and data blueprints.

Requirements

• Expertise in semantic modeling and designing modular, performance-optimized analytical data models.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and extensive experience with Google BigQuery.
• Practical familiarity with workflow orchestrators such as Dagster.
• Strong experience in data validation and quality engineering, including writing declarative data checks and regression assertions.
• Proficiency with Git version control and automated deployment via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
• Ability to translate loose business requirements into highly structured, reliable, and standardized metric environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for managing version-controlled modeling code and deployment workflows.
• Domain expertise in E-commerce, Retail-Tech, or AdTech ecosystems.
• Understanding of web analytics tracking, funnel parameters, or ad-performance metrics.
