About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the establishment of detailed project plans, including time, budget, resources, scope, and risks
- Manage project activities related to scheduling, communications, and financial budgeting
- Mitigate risks by balancing client expectations and taking early action to resolve problems
- Support the planning and delivery of projects within inter-disciplinary teams across acute and community care
- Engage with project sponsors and stakeholders to collect requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Apply change management and communication strategies to ensure successful digital health service adoption
- Oversee end-to-end low-to-moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision
- Lead small groups of analysts or students on assigned projects
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years of Healthcare Project Management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management processes, including planning, implementation, and risk assessment
- Experience developing and executing communication and adoption plans, including stakeholder analysis
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Project Management or Change Management certifications
- Experience with the EPIC EMR system
- Clinical background
