Senior Analyst - Transportation Foresight & Planning

Responsibilities

• Coordinate periodic reviews of activities and KPIs to ensure adherence to Dubai Government Excellence Program requirements.
• Support data analysis and target setting for strategic public transport share KPIs in coordination with relevant agencies.
• Assist in identifying annual priorities and budgets for transportation infrastructure projects during budgeting cycles.
• Develop the DSTM technical manual and provide technical support and training related to transport modelling.
• Prepare lists of major developer projects and cost-sharing agreements in compliance with applicable laws.
• Provide technical support and participate in the review of strategic transportation projects and studies.
• Participate in urban planning studies aimed at encouraging mass transport and sustainable mobility modes.
• Follow up on the design, development, and update of section-level processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban/Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Transport Economics, or Data Analytics.
• 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in advanced transport modelling tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, EMME, or CUBE.
• Strong GIS proficiency using ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Technical skills in SQL and Python for data analytics.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and technical reporting.
• Familiarity with DGEP/KPI governance.
