About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting to ensure production continuity
  • Manage kit readiness by collaborating with cross-functional teams including BOM, Material Master, and Process Engineering
  • Release production orders in the MRP system and confirm them within the shop floor system
  • Provide direct production floor support, including replacement part management and shop floor material staging
  • Control the physical disposition of non-conforming or specially handled material
  • Maintain the integrity of shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics
  • Process piece part movements to support internal builds through subcontractors and shared resources
  • Note: This is a 2nd shift, onsite role located in Andover, MA

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, or manufacturing
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Material and Inventory Control systems such as Kanban, SMI, or Continuous Flow Manufacturing
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
