About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial planning, forecasting, and close processes to ensure alignment with program execution.
- Drive the development of Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) deliverables.
- Conduct advanced financial analysis, including material cost visibility and MRP updates.
- Translate financial results into actionable insights, communicating risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Deliver comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analysis to identify trends and corrective actions.
- Own cost, schedule, and financial reporting activities using standardized enterprise tools.
- Develop and implement structured training programs and finance bootcamps to elevate organizational financial acumen.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience analyzing complex financial and operational data sets to drive business outcomes.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as Contracts, Operations, and Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, APEX EV, or Business Warehouse (BW).
- Background in the Government Contracting (GovCon) or Defense industry.
- Knowledge of government accounting standards and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
- Proven ability to deliver briefings and reports to senior executive leadership.
