About the role
Responsibilities
- Support program financial execution through cost reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM), and detailed financial analysis.
- Partner with Program Business Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and Program Managers.
- Prepare internal cost reports and analyze cost data, financial planning systems, and program performance metrics.
- Compile quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) submissions for review by program and finance leadership.
- Perform detailed financial analysis at the functional and product level to explain variances to budget, baseline, and EAC positions.
- Process approved Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) and support the Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) process.
- Utilize PRISM and SAP to support program material analysis and ensure changes are incorporated into control systems.
- Respond to billing, funding, and financial data inquiries and ad hoc analysis requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP or SAP Business Warehouse.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing written and verbal communications for stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Experience analyzing data to identify issues, evaluate options, and support resolution of business problems.
- Experience reviewing and validating work products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
