Senior Analyst - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and delivery expectations are met
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts based on production requirements and MRP output
• Monitor and adjust purchase orders according to production plan changes using shortage and open order lists
• Track shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses to ensure timely delivery
• Conduct regular stock checks to prevent overstocking and minimize the risk of material obsolescence
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with warehouse personnel to resolve issues
• Manage procurement records, including costs, delivery schedules, and inventory metrics
• Review requisitions, approve invoices for payment, and conduct quarterly supplier reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with ERP software
• Strong data entry and spreadsheet management skills
• Ability to calculate figures involving discounts, percentages, and proportions
• Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence
