Senior Analyst, Private Equity Accounting

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee investor record setup and ongoing maintenance within CRM systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Validate key investor attributes, including entity details, banking instructions, and tax information against source documentation
• Support the execution of capital calls, distributions, and investor account statements
• Perform reconciliations between CRM platforms and downstream systems to ensure data integrity
• Serve as the primary reviewer of Analyst work across investor setup, capital activity, and reporting processes
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, including automation and standardization initiatives
• Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and feedback to junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Experience in private capital, fund administration, or investor data management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience reviewing work and providing oversight to junior staff
• Working knowledge of private equity structures or investor onboarding processes
• Understanding of capital activity processes such as capital calls and partner accounting
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Dynamics 365
