Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Establish and document reasoning for variance and control analysis periodic thresholds
• Review and adjust thresholds regularly based on changes in the business environment
• Escalate material errors, inappropriate accounting practices, or issues compromising financial reporting integrity
• Produce periodic analytics reports and trend data to assist in the validation of financial results
• Produce monthly management packs and metrics for the Brokerage business unit
• Resolve queries from front office trading, operations, finance control, and middle office stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory and risk requirements
• Manage invoice processing by verifying, coding, and entering broker and vendor invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in trade data, rates, and asset types

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Commerce or Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services or Asset Servicing
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong technical skills in Power BI and SQL
• Ability to work late EMEA shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate financial control environment or accounting practice
• Sound knowledge of accounting, reporting, and financial control requirements
• Experience with statutory and audit requirements
