Senior Analyst, MENA (Geoeconomics of GCC region)

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic and political developments in the Arab Gulf, focusing on long-term investment projects and transformations.
• Provide insights on regulatory changes and business framework advancements influencing investment priorities in the GCC region.
• Produce well-structured analytical reports and thought leadership pieces, translating complex information into accessible insights for clients.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, offer tailored advice, and develop meaningful relationships to support business development.
• Collaborate with the broader Eurasia Group team to integrate regional insights into global political risk analysis.
• Support business development activities by identifying opportunities and facilitating client interactions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience focusing on the MENA region, particularly the GCC countries.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Proven client engagement and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in political science, economics, international relations, or a related field.
• Current residency in the Middle East region, specifically the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
