Senior Analyst, Market Risk

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capital market models for trading derivative products (FX and Interest Rate Derivatives) and securities lending portfolios.
• Build and manage daily trading limit models, Initial Margin models for uncleared trades, and Basel regulatory exposure calculation tools (EAD).
• Support stress testing, capital quantification, and internal capital allocation methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.
• Evaluate existing risk frameworks against industry leading practices and corporate objectives.
• Provide technical and theoretical input to resolve complex risk issues and enhance the overall risk measurement framework.
• Collaborate with front office business partners, regulators, Audit Services, and other independent reviewers.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or an advanced quantitative degree.
• Alternatively, a B.Tech from a tier 1 college with an MBA in a related field.
• 0-2 years of hands-on quantitative risk experience related to market or counterparty risk.
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, and VBA programming (Python is preferred).
• Experience with stochastic process pricing models and Monte Carlo Simulation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including BASEL, CCAR, and SR11/7.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CFA or FRM.
• Experience in model validation.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural and global environment.
