Senior Analyst – Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize logistics operations, including shipment tracking, contract negotiations, and coordination of shipments.
• Perform cost analysis, budget preparation, and research using data mining or modeling to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor product flow from origin to final delivery and track vehicle or inventory movement using logistics systems.
• Develop and maintain models for cost estimating, demand forecasting, and freight rate databases.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and order fulfillment rates.
• Communicate with service providers, including ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads and maximize vehicle usage.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Engineering degree.
• 2+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within electronics.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably BAAN.
• Experience in order processing, order management, or end-to-end procurement.
