Senior Analyst - Infrastructure Advisory (BESS Expert)

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews and technology assessments for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects
• Conduct BESS sizing and technical due diligence
• Support transaction projects involving other renewable technologies such as solar and wind
• Compile and analyze data from design documents and contracts
• Review technical inputs within financial models for BESS and similar technologies
• Draft technical due diligence, construction, and operation monitoring reports
• Present data in meaningful formats for project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• 2-4+ years of experience in a business or consulting environment
• Proficiency in data analysis and technical data crunching
• Ability to travel up to 100% as required by client environments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience specifically in BESS design review, technical due diligence, or bankability roles
• Deep understanding of battery chemistry and various battery technologies
• Knowledge of techno-commercial contract aspects
• Understanding of basic concepts in power and infrastructure projects
• Strong business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity
