Senior Analyst - Informatica Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL test cases for actuarial datasets using Informatica and Python
• Analyze actuarial business requirements, source-to-target mappings, and transformation logic
• Perform source-to-target reconciliation to validate actuarial metrics such as reserves and loss ratios
• Validate historical data movements, effective dated records, and development logic used in actuarial models
• Conduct data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Work closely with actuaries, data engineers, and finance teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA
• Ensure compliance with audit, governance, and regulatory standards for actuarial data

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong ETL testing experience
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for validation and automation
• Advanced SQL skills for complex reconciliations, aggregations, and variance analysis
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or SSIS
• Solid understanding of actuarial data concepts, including reserves and ultimate calculations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and dimensional schemas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing data that supports actuarial systems or tools (e.g., Prophet)
• Knowledge of Life Insurance domain
• Experience with DataLake concepts and modeling data flows
• Experience working with large, long-term historical datasets
• Proficiency in Unix commands and performance tuning for ETL processes
