Senior Analyst, Incident Response

Responsibilities

• Enforce enterprise information assurance and security standards across the organization
• Identify, report, and resolve security violations and incidents
• Conduct cybersecurity investigations to analyze and distill findings to determine root causes
• Assist customers in implementing corporate security policies on existing information systems
• Evaluate information security solutions and processes to provide recommendations supporting Dell security standards
• Support information assurance requirements based on the analysis of user and policy demands

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong knowledge of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Proven ability to conduct cybersecurity investigations and perform root cause analysis
• Proficiency with security and web technologies including SIEM, Firewall/NGFW, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, and UEBA
• Experience with full packet capture and networking protocols
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix platforms and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically in cybersecurity or a related technical field
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
