Senior Analyst, GSS Accounting Operations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review routine and complex journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and close schedules
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset setup, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals
• Perform intercompany accounting activities, including entries, eliminations, and balance reconciliations
• Execute corporate and overhead allocations by validating inputs and reconciling allocated balances
• Perform subledger reconciliations for AP, AR, Payroll, and Fixed Assets, driving timely resolution of variances
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and standardization within Accounting Operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in Accounting, Record to Report (R2R), or Shared Services operations
• Strong expertise in fixed asset accounting (capitalization, depreciation, and disposals)
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting principles
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Fluency in both English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multi-entity or global shared services environments
• Prior experience supporting external audits and maintaining internal controls
