Senior Analyst, General Ledger and Reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including master data and period-end processing and reporting
• Perform complex general ledger transactional activities and ensure data quality assurance
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and notes to accounts
• Prepare analytic reports and accounting schedules, investigating irregularities and developing corrective action plans
• Support the preparation of data and schedules required for statutory, internal, and IFRS audits
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in SAP User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Adhere to internal controls, company policies, and established service levels

Requirements

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience in a shared services environment is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP systems, specifically the Asset and GL modules
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
