Senior Analyst, Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and reconcile complex funds, including mutual, commingled, and collective funds, for daily valuation and client month-end reporting.
• Verify complex transactions, audit income reports, and resolve daily exceptions for fund accounts.
• Perform quality assurance checks on information received from internal supporting functions.
• Create, maintain, and update fund procedures while ensuring compliance with all company controls and policies.
• Review and sign off on NAV files produced by other team members.
• Identify process efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and enhance operational speed.
• Assist with the training and coaching of new team members as the group expands.
• Collaborate closely with global home locations to resolve queries and manage new transitions.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting or a related financial operations role.
• Strong subject matter expertise in fund accounting and administration.
• Proven operational knowledge, including experience with secondary reviews, controls, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks and escalations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with global teams.
• Ability to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.
