Senior Analyst – Finance IM

DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 11.9 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 80 renewable energy projects in 24 states.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end information management lifecycle for project and financing data
• Support critical transactions including acquisitions, refinancings, and corporate financings
• Interpret and validate key commercial and financial terms from debt documents, swaps, and contracts
• Oversee and improve centralized data repositories, governance standards, and version control
• Partner with Treasury, Asset Management, and accounting teams to maintain high-quality datasets
• Manage and enhance investor reporting processes and platforms
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows using automation, AI tools, and scalable data solutions
• Contribute to the development of data architecture and reporting frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• 2–4 years of experience in information management, financial data management, or contracts management
• Ability to interpret complex financial agreements and documents
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with structured datasets
• Strong organizational and execution skills in fast-paced environments
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for global teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation, data tools, or AI-enabled workflows
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or Python
