Senior Analyst, Data Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of data tracking plans, defining key metrics and KPIs to support organizational stakeholders.
• Mine proprietary databases and data warehouses to extract user and product information for actionable insights.
• Design and execute data analytics proposals, research studies, and sample designs.
• Oversee the management of digital analytical tools, including Google Analytics and social media data instruments.
• Implement and maintain tracking tags via Google Tag Manager and collaborate with developers on Customer Data Platforms.
• Create dynamic weekly and monthly dashboards and visualizations to inform strategic decision-making.
• Analyze behavioral and attitudinal trends in product usage and present findings to departments such as Programming, Production, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, providing both qualitative and quantitative research findings.
• Advanced SQL query skills and knowledge of relational databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, including customized views, dimensions, and filters.
• Proficiency in Google Tag Manager and advanced implementation of tracking tags.
• Ability to create meaningful visualizations and dynamic dashboards using Looker Studio, Google Sheets, or BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and reconciling multiple sources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the media or ed-tech industry.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and their integration with consumer-facing web applications.
