Senior Analyst - Credit Corporates

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated portfolio of Japanese corporate credit customers, performing regular due diligence and scheduled reviews
• Analyze credit risk and determine accurate ratings, providing recommendations to senior portfolio managers
• Prepare detailed credit analysis and applications in accordance with US Credit Policy and operating manuals
• Perform cash flow modeling and assess risks associated with bank products such as loans, trade finance, forex, and derivatives
• Monitor covenant compliance, facility due dates, and reporting requirements
• Coordinate and communicate account information to internal auditors and external regulators
• Work with business lines to identify prospective transactions and recommend structural risk mitigants
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., FED, OCC, BOJ)

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in financial institutions, accounting, or financial analysis
• MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA degree
• Strong financial analysis and cash flow modeling skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and assess risks in standard banking products

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of formal credit training
• Japanese language proficiency
