Senior Analyst - Credit Analysis & Underwriting

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis for high-net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, and commercial real estate clients.
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports and memos to support underwriting and lending decisions.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and economic data to assess creditworthiness and identify risk mitigants.
• Monitor borrower performance through thorough annual reviews to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and onshore partners to develop tailored credit solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts to ensure adherence to established quality standards and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or an equivalent field.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial spreading and credit memo underwriting.
• Strong financial analysis skills and familiarity with lending products such as lines of credit and term loans.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Experience with Moody’s Credit Lens or similar credit spreading tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder partnering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CMA.
