About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify risks throughout business processes and systems in collaboration with business process owners
  • Facilitate Business Unit risk assessments, including Process Self Risk Assessments (PRSAs)
  • Support control monitoring and compile key operational risk trends, activities, and events
  • Proactively identify high-risk areas for intervention through independent quality assurance and process testing
  • Support thematic risk reporting regarding risk levels, trends, and root causes
  • Categorize controls and map them against risks and processes across business units
  • Maintain risk dashboards, key risk indicators (KRIs), and updated risk registers
  • Support the identification of risks related to New Product Governance (NPG)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk or Internal Audit functions)
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in process governance with an understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational standards
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and evaluate risk scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) or relevant professional certifications
  • Experience facilitating risk assessment performance and testing programs to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Experience in independent control monitoring and identifying control improvements
  • Experience compiling thematic risk reporting to provide actionable insights
