Senior Analyst, Commercial Real Estate Investment Management

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new commercial real estate loans and present investment recommendations to Managing Directors
• Support business development through mortgage banking relationships within assigned geographic territories
• Draft term sheets, applications, investment committee memos, and other transaction-related documents
• Complete due diligence, including the review of leases, rent rolls, third-party reports, and estoppels
• Serve as a business liaison throughout the loan closing process to ensure timely execution
• Support portfolio management through surveillance of the existing loan portfolio and special servicing requests
• Travel up to 25% for due diligence and business development purposes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field
• 1-3+ years of experience in financial analysis and investments
• Introductory knowledge of commercial real estate principles, fundamentals, and valuation
• Ability to evaluate real estate financial statements and apply financial concepts (e.g., IRR, Cap Rates, NPV)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in commercial real estate finance or investment analysis
• Proficiency with CoStar
