Senior Analyst, Cloud

Responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding process for new customers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to deliver proposed solutions and meet customer expectations.
• Work with Project Managers to understand technical designs and infrastructure builds, providing input to automate deployments.
• Draft architecture design diagrams, document onboarding runbooks, and create standard operating procedures.
• Integrate Syntax solutions with OCI, including identity and access management, logging, and vulnerability management.
• Use ticketing systems to track and address client needs, providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Act as a Level II escalation point for Priority 1 OCI issues, participating in root cause analysis (RCA).
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis during off-business hours and weekends.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud computing, technical architecture, or database management.
• Expert knowledge of OCI Native services (e.g., OCI DNS, Zones, and Email Delivery).
• Hands-on experience managing SaaS-based database offerings such as DBCS, ATP, and ExaCS.
• Proven experience with large-scale application and database migrations into OCI.
• Strong understanding of OCI networking, including FastConnect, VPN, and Peering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft AD, administering Domain Controllers, and managing Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and/or programming languages like Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• OCI Certification.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Salt/Ansible, or Docker/OKE.
• Experience with cloud security controls, including encryption, key management, and SIEM.
