Senior Analyst Business Line Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Deliver periodic financial results, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare periodic reporting on statutory and business line results for Global Banking and Markets (GBM).
• Coordinate with various business units to collect financial data and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Perform reasonability checks on financial results and identify/resolve material issues.
• Review and prepare statutory journal entries within strict periodic timetables.
• Maintain and develop strong controls over operational and analytical processes.
• Support the development of financial metrics, analytical tools, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Canadian CPA designation or currently a candidate actively enrolled in the CPA program.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to relate financial data to business trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) and other office applications.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
