About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of advanced high-speed analog circuits in deep-submicron CMOS technologies.
- Perform feasibility studies with various circuit topologies to recommend optimal solutions and guide circuit requirement specifications.
- Execute complete and detailed design of assigned analog blocks, collaborating closely with analog layout teams and junior designers through to GDSII delivery.
- Characterize analog circuits in state-of-the-art lab environments, from test-chips to full product implementation.
- Participate in team meetings, report on project status, and share technical expertise with the broader group.
Requirements
- BEng/BSc, MEng/MSc, or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience leading designs in advanced CMOS technology.
- Proven history of successful analog circuit product deliveries.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Cadence (Virtuoso), Mentor (Calibre, STAR-RC), or Synopsys (MMSIM).
- Strong ability to methodically address sophisticated technical problems and work both independently and as a teammate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 2.5D or 3D E-M tools such as HFSS or EMX.
- Experience in team leadership within an analog macro design group.
- System design or architecture experience for complex analog macro IP solutions using MatLab or C++.
- Experience with mixed-signal design validation using advanced probing and test equipment.
