Senior Analog Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design analog power management circuits at the transistor level, including op-amps, comparators, level-shifters, gate drivers, and charge pumps.
• Evaluate design alternatives and perform worst-case simulations to ensure robust performance across all conditions.
• Partner with Systems Engineers to negotiate specifications and balance performance against cost and development timelines.
• Take ownership of block development, including creating verification plans and providing production test support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with layout, test, and validation teams to ensure high-quality chip-level results.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage small project teams to foster technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
• Comprehensive knowledge of CMOS technology and physical design for power management.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools, specifically the Cadence chip design suite.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a chip from initial concept to tape-out.
• Familiarity with Bipolar CMOS DMOS (BCD) and designing Gate Drive circuits for Silicon and Gallium-Nitride (GaN) MOSFETs.
• Design experience for automotive ESD and Safety-Critical semiconductors (ISO 26262 and ASIL compliance).
• Interest in using generative AI within an IC design context to improve workflow efficiency.
