Senior Amazon Connect Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations
• Optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns
• Develop Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation
• Modify and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic
• Collaborate with UI teams to translate requirements into backend services
• Work with Amazon Professional Services on implementation initiatives
• Design event-driven architectures using Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
• 4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect (contact flows, routing, queues)
• Strong proficiency in Python and AWS Lambda development
• Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Strong knowledge of DynamoDB schema design and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud-native and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience converting AWS CDK or CloudFormation templates into Terraform
• Experience with IBM ODM
