About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations
- Optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns
- Develop Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic
- Modify and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic
- Collaborate with UI teams and Amazon Professional Services
- Design event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SQS, and SNS
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across AWS environments
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
- 4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect
- Strong proficiency in Python and AWS Lambda
- Experience with API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and backend integrations
- Strong knowledge of DynamoDB schema design
- Experience in Agile development environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience converting AWS CDK or CloudFormation to Terraform
- Experience with IBM ODM
