About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee, direct, and manage production planning and reporting for all advanced manufacturing processes at the Advanced Technical Training Centers (ATTC).
- Monitor process flows and assess speed and efficiency using metric-driven solutions and ERP reporting through Global Shop.
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead ad-hoc cross-group teams to analyze and recommend solutions.
- Develop and submit metrics and analytics for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive operations into a consolidated production master schedule to optimize shared resources.
- Communicate scheduling impacts to peers and leadership and ensure outsourced processes meet project deadlines.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders regarding the current state of all ATTC projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field (or 3 years of directly-related experience in operations, production analysis, or project management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, supply chain management, or operations management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multiple projects in manufacturing, operations, or new product development environments.
- Experience using Global Shop ERP systems or similar ERP software.
- Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing inventory within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to federal research contract requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in Production Control.
- Demonstrated ability to promote inclusive excellence in the workplace.
