Senior Aircraft Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, fabrication, and repair of aircraft electrical and electronic systems
• Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams, and standards for the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components
• Lay-in route wires in aircraft, including tying, lacing, and applying appropriate anti-chaff protection
• Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains, and electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes
• Conduct function checks of components to verify proper functioning of systems

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of aviation electrical experience
• Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or covered under existing ITAR license)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to read technical diagrams and engineering drawings
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Current A&P license
• SkillBridge eligibility (active-duty service member within 180 days of separation with written Commander authorization)
