Senior Air Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end airfreight operations in alignment with company strategy and customer requirements
• Serve as the first point of escalation for shipment exceptions, resolving issues with urgency
• Coach and mentor team members to ensure SOP compliance and a culture of continuous improvement
• Maintain high data accuracy and timely milestone updates across Flexport systems to meet KPIs
• Oversee billing accuracy and cost control, resolving invoice disputes promptly
• Monitor and review vendor and carrier performance, providing actionable feedback
• Supervise a small team of associates and act as a squad lead when required
• Support strategic initiatives including carrier integrations and client onboarding

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 3–7 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
• Strong working knowledge of air freight processes, including import and export handling
• Fluency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience coaching or mentoring junior team members
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
