Senior Air Import Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage the full shipment lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, ensuring all requirements are met accurately and on time.
• Coordinate shipment tasks including booking approvals, pre-alerts, governmental filings, delivery execution, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficient service and creative problem resolution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely responses and proactive issue resolution.
• Provide track and trace services, generate shipment documentation, and ensure high levels of data integrity.
• Input financial components of shipments to generate correct customer billing.
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and solve internal and external challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Air Import experience working with a freight forwarder.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proven track record of strong, client-focused customer service.
• High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Formal knowledge or completed coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business.
