Senior Air Freight Manager

Responsibilities

• Set and implement the regional air freight strategy, including financial targets for volume, revenue, and gross profit.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of the country P&L, managing COGS, net revenue, and operating expenses.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, leading negotiations with airlines, handlers, and truckers to secure value.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key airline contacts within the Taiwan region.
• Drive product development by partnering with engineering teams to identify feature gaps and build best-in-class forwarding products.
• Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing air freight team across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with the Sales organization to design go-to-market strategies and lead regional pricing and markup management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding, airlines, or logistics operations.
• Proven expertise in procurement and managing airline relationships specifically within the Taiwan market.
• Extensive experience managing and motivating large, diverse teams through organizational transformations.
• Strong P&L management experience with a track record of driving profitable growth.
• Deep expertise in freight forwarding market processes and operational metrics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills.
