Senior AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Advance the state of the art analytics engine that powers the core product
• Productize AI, machine learning, and data analysis
• Build, maintain, and improve tools, techniques, and architecture for high-performance computing
• Work with engineers, data scientists, and research staff to build new features and solve novel problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building scientific or quantitative data-intensive software
• Expertise in the scientific Python stack, object oriented development, and test-driven development
• Experience with vectorized code and machine learning
• Expertise in architecting, maintaining, and optimizing distributed, parallel computing systems
• Knowledge of software architecture and scalable, performant solutions
• Proficiency with evolving ML and AI Ops toolsets
• Commitment to code quality and maintainable, testable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or Ph.D.) in STEM
• Thorough knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Experience with Celery and MongoDB
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Strong written communication skills for documentation and technical discussions
