Senior AI/ML Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data scientists to design, build, and test machine learning models on the Azure platform to solve complex business challenges.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art modeling approaches, including zero-shot/few-shot learning, embedding techniques, and fine-tuning.
• Ensure high-quality, secure code that meets business objectives and quality standards.
• Build reusable tools to streamline the modeling pipeline and share knowledge across the team.
• Manage project stakeholder expectations and communicate progress effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML) with deep expertise in writing and reviewing production code in Python.
• Strong knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, and Agentic AI.
• Proven experience designing scalable end-to-end Machine Learning and NLP systems.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with web frameworks like FastAPI and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of NLP techniques including text pre-processing, entity extraction, and encoder-decoder architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs.
• Expertise in NLP feature engineering and transformer models (e.g., BERT, GPT).
• Familiarity with end-to-end full-stack application development.
• Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
