Senior AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap for claims management systems
• Provide architectural leadership and make informed design tradeoffs
• Identify bottlenecks in claim handling workflows and drive AI automation solutions
• Deliver scalable, reliable, high quality and well-tested solutions and code
• Collaborate with internal teams and external insurance partners for technical alignment
• Lead code reviews, design reviews, production on-call support, and incident triaging
• Invest in the engineering community through knowledge sharing and process improvements

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience building scalable distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience developing AI features using multimodal LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, Kafka, or Airflow
• Strong ability to reason about system design, architecture, and domain modeling
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Knowledge of React/Next.js and data analysis
• Experience improving AI performance with evals, agent tracing, and fine-tuning LLMs
• Prior experience in insurance, claims management, or workflow orchestration
• Background in machine learning or NLP
• Knowledge of AI safety and alignment considerations
