Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality AI systems and features that meet technical and design requirements
• Optimize and debug code to ensure performance and technical quality
• Promote programming best practices and coding standards for maintainable, high-performance code
• Contribute to technical design documents, requirement clarification, and peer code reviews
• Plan work effectively and provide realistic progress updates to leads
• Proactively identify risks and create innovative solutions to mitigate impact on gameplay
• Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and promote their beneficial use in the game

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in related fields
• Strong knowledge of C++
• Solid understanding of game engine architectures
• Strong software design skills with experience in data-oriented architectural patterns
• Strong optimization and multithreading skills
• Good understanding of network replication and client-server programming
• Experience with formal languages such as FSM, Statecharts, or Behavior Trees
• Advanced debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering games using Unreal Engine
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture
• Comfort with event-driven and asynchronous architectures
• Experience developing in a live environment
