Senior AI Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the enterprise AI platform powering products across 9fin
• Develop scalable AI services supporting Agentic AI, RAG, embeddings, and vector search
• Build orchestration layers to transform enterprise data into reusable AI capabilities
• Develop production-ready AI applications using modern LLM frameworks
• Design reusable platform components for prompt management, model serving, and AI gateways
• Build APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling for self-service AI development
• Design secure, scalable deployment pipelines for AI models and applications
• Build AI observability capabilities including monitoring, tracing, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with AI and Backend engineers to define architecture and standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years building AI/ML platforms or production machine learning systems
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud-native applications and AWS Bedrock
• Knowledge of AI observability tools like Arize Phoenix, Langfuse, or Langsmith

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI gateways and model routing
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, or CrewAI
• Experience with vector databases and semantic retrieval
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs or document understanding systems
