Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI/ML services supporting content intelligence, semantic search, and generative AI use cases
• Build and maintain production services using Python, Java, and event-driven patterns
• Develop AI applications and orchestration workflows using LangChain and related frameworks
• Integrate large language models (LLMs), embedding models, and multimodal models into production
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector search patterns using OpenSearch
• Use AWS services to deploy, monitor, and scale ML-enabled applications and data pipelines
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews
• Partner with product, data science, and editorial teams to define practical AI requirements

Requirements

• Strong software engineering and applied AI/ML experience in large-scale, high-availability environments
• Proficiency in Python and Java for building production services and data workflows
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or comparable AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience integrating and evaluating LLMs and embedding models
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and semantic search
• Experience with AWS cloud services and production deployment patterns
• Experience with OpenSearch, search relevance, and vector search capabilities
• Proven ability to write secure, maintainable, and testable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the media, publishing, streaming, or digital content industry
• Familiarity with content modeling, taxonomies, and editorial workflows
• Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, and A/B testing frameworks
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Data Science
