Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive complex AI engineering workstreams across multiple business areas, use cases, and stakeholder groups.
• Define AI engineering approaches that align business goals with orchestration patterns and integration requirements.
• Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into structured implementation plans, including prompt orchestration and retrieval patterns.
• Guide the implementation of AI-enabled applications, agents, and assistant-style experiences.
• Establish best practices for tool use, context handling, API integration, and code quality.
• Design reusable implementation patterns for summarization, extraction, search augmentation, and workflow automation.
• Mentor and coach AI engineering practitioners through feedback and performance development.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Architects to align AI solutions with technical constraints and governed data access.

Requirements

• Advanced English level.
• Strong experience in AI application development using Python, SQL, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience designing and implementing LLM-enabled and agentic applications (RAG, prompt orchestration, tool calling, and embeddings).
• Proficiency with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated AI-native engineering habits, including the use of AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development and testing.
